Jim Crowley, President of Heritage Design Associates, LLC, leads the Residential and Commercial Concept Design Division.
Thanks to strong encouragement by his father, the late James F. Crowley, Sr., from an early age Jim was drawing buildings with a skill and imagination far beyond his years.
At just 19 years of age, Jim was awarded his first commission, and from there his heart and soul have led the path to his future.
An accomplished builder and designer, Jim is well versed in the mechanical, physical and practical aspects of the building trades - all of which are evident from the first line drawn for any project.
This two for one edge is an incredible asset that saves both valuable time and unwanted expenditures.
Jim takes pride in the traditions started by his father and continually strives to expand the designs and innovations that comprise all of his projects.
Jim welcomes all inquiries and will provide a private consultation at your convenience to discuss all of the possibilities available to you.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
More often than not in the industry, the importance of concept development is overlooked due to the old quantity vs. quality mindset - many residential and commercial concept design firms have turned into design factories. Typically, the client is only given one opportunity to approve a preliminary drawing, with only minimal input taken into account. At Heritage Design Associates, LLC, each design receives Jim's individual and complete attention and will be reworked as many times as necessary until it is exactly what the client wants. With Jim's designs, every effort is made to not only incorporate the client's specific needs, but their wish list as well - all the while keeping in mind their overall budget.

RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL CONCEPT DESIGN
With each design that Jim creates, the eye of the builder always complements the eye of the designer, a benefit and luxury that most architects and builders do not have. With over 30 years of experience as a Master Craftsman and Fine Furniture Builder, a project's design always fits with the building phase. And thanks to his active involvement in the building trades, he knows materials and labor cost so that your design will fit your budget. A consummate innovator of design, Jim often draws inspiration from past architectural movements while keeping an eye on present and modern contemporary developments. Whether inspired by American Colonial, European Classical, or the Modern appeal, Jim will make sure that the design keeps all aspects in perfect harmony.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Jim also offers Landscape Design services for clients who elect Residential and Commercial Concept Design, Custom Building, or the Residential Renovation service. His talented eye and creative use of nature's materials lend an added dimension to his projects.
Remember, the design of the building is only half of the completed picture. With well planned plot design and the correct choice of materials, the landscape aesthetic will complete the entire presentation.

QUALITY CUSTOM BUILDING
With over 50 years of homes built in the Crowley tradition, the idea of quality is deeply ingrained in the Heritage Design Associates, LLC's aesthetic. Jim takes great care in reviewing product specification, comparitive pricing and infield performance before introducing any materials into his projects. Known for incredible value, the quality of a Crowley-built home far surpasses anything on the market in a square foot comparison. Whether it's a new home designed by Jim from the ground up, or an existing structure in need of renovation, the client will get the best value for their dollar. One of Jim's custom designs also won South Shore Living's 2005 Home Design Contest.
